Sooo Happy!!!
Gente eu não estou cabendo dentro de mim de tanta felicidade, minha saída daqui do Brasil tá marcada para 17 de maio, na verdade devo estar embarcando para São Paulo dia 16 de maio...é maravilhoso!!!Bem até eu chegar até essa conclusão tive alguns contratempos, hoje Lisa me ligou e foi maravilhoso mas eu tava tão nervosa que entendi o meu dia de embarque para 31 de maio, logo liguei pra Julianne pra dar a boa nova, mas só agora vi na minha Web account que meu embarque está para o dia 17 de maio, isso me deixa muito feliz e muito triste também, afinal queria muito viajar com Ju...

Oiêê meninas...
Bem já que hoje estou disposta a blogar resolvi também postar um trecho do quadragésimo quarto mail de Lisa (sem contar os attachments), dessa forma, Tessa, você mata sua curiosidade de quando você me perguntou o que tanto a gente conversa...bem tudo, todos os dias estamos nos comunicando, é maravilhoso...acho que dá pra ter uma idéia...Ahh, Mari essa é pra você ver como nossas famílias sáo carinhosas com a gente, a minha host family também é super atenciosa...olha só:-) Hey Sweetie! Happy Sunday-Sorry I did not write you earlier-it was a busy day today we were getting the other room painted and I was cleaning in the basement. We picked out a color for the other room to paint and Joe went to go get the paint and when he came back it is like an awful orange! We said we wanted orange but a very different one-this is very bright-he said it is fun and will match Ana's bedding but I don't really like it-he stated painting it already-Ugghhhhh! But it will be temporary as far as I am concerned until we work on making our home bigger. Right now I am with ICQ instant messenger but I can get on MSN-I will try to download it tomorrow-it will be fun to talk to you that way. We are getting snow right now-yuck! It is supposed to be Spring but we got a cold front coming in. I am still trying to clean out the garage because we moved here the day I had Ava but before that we lived in apartments. We sold our first home 2 years ago so we can use the money for the adoption-at that time we lived in an apartment at my parents than we moved to an apartment before we bought this home-we wanted to save some money. SO all that time we had all of our stuff in storage so I am still going through boxes from 2 years ago! I forgot all the stuff I had and some of it I just have to give away-see I don't like to thrown things away I would rather donate it but it is taking so long to go through and now we need the room so we have to do it now:) Do you have a lot of clothes that you are bringing? In setting up your room I am just hoping to have enough room for your clothes with closets and dressers-In your room there is a big closet but I may have to store some of Ava's things in there for temporary-but I hope you can't mind??? I also want to know from you anything that may be offending to your culture. Sometimes we may do something here that will be okay but will insult someone from another culture and I would not want you to feel bad if I did not know-I also joke a lot so I hope that does not offend you-just silly things but nothing hurtful ever-I just want to make sure-I am so excited. I know you will miss your friends but we will have a computer for you so you can message them and everything-I went to my new office yesterday and when I get to it I am going to make a room for you to study-I am thinking on the days that you can come with me and Ava-maybe we can set it up like a lounge with a TV and desk for you to study. It has two very big rooms but it is on the 4th floor with a lot of stairs so of course I will worry about Ava when she starts to walk that she will not fall down the stairs-and Ana of course will be walking-I do not want to make stress for you. I feel like you are family and it may be hard for me to ask you for help because I don't think of you coming here and working-I think of you coming here to be our family-like you are my cousin or something-it will be an adjustment for me-I am not one who likes to ask for help-especially because I do not want to burden people so that will be hard for me. I am a person who likes to take on a lot with little help but I realize that to enjoy life and my children I will need some help but I do not expect someone to do everything for me or to take care of Ava and Ana always because I want to be a part of that. DO you drink coffee-I love coffee-sometimes it is all that I drink in a day-and a lot of ginger ale-I like to drink red wine sometimes but it gives me an awful headache-what is the drinking age in Brazil? I also want to tell you that each time I get an email from you your English is so better and better-I am so proud of you!!!! Well I have to do some work so I will write more tomorrow or maybe will see you in the chat room-I also have a class that started but they have not done my financial aid so I have to write an email to find out about that- Lots of hugs and kisses! Lindo dia...
Gente minha viagem está próxima de ser anunciada, acho que em maio estarei viajando, Lisa quer que eu esteja com ela e Ava, enquanto Joe vai buscar Ana, aquela menininha da Guatemala, que eles adotaram há dois anos, e que só agora o processo foi aceito. Lisa precisa de mim para facilitar a comunicação, sabe... convenhamos que o português está mais próximo do espanhol do que o inglês, né?! Bem, meninas, vamos combinar um cinema sei lá, a gente precisa se encontrar antes de viajarmos, acho que Julianne será a primeira, portanto Tessa separa um dia para vir aqui em Natal, seria maravilhoso combinarmos maneiras de manter contato nos Eua, seja através de blogs ou e-mails...Beijinhos, gatinhas!!!

Finalmente queridas amigas Au Pairs, demorou mais chegou: Tenho uma HOST FAMILY! e pra ninguém botar defeito meninas, vou tentar anexar uma foto da familia feliz e sua home, okay? E você Juliane porque não me escreve, hein? Decidiu se vai pra Califórnia ou para Washington, AHH, que dúvida cruel, que vida dificil, hein...Bem e você Marina como está a sua Host Family, aí que me deu uma inveja queria conhecer Seattle, tô brincando, tô bastante satisfeita com Saratoga County sem reclamar de nada, embora meus host parents fumem que eu odeio cigarro, Bem todo mundo tem que ter um defeito, né!!! E Tessa num esqueci de vc não, por favor não fique ansiosa pela Host Family, viu!!!É normal esperar e esperar e esperar, das au pairs da cia do intercâmbio apenas uma levou so um mês para ser chamada, e eu tadinha 5 meses, é né brincadeira não...Você pode visitar o site WWW.greataupair.com para ajudar no Matching, foi o que eu e Marina fizemos e encontramos nossas familias, mas não é muito seguro, porque depois de encontrar um familia interessada você terá de convencê-la a entrar no programa da EF..Bem, não custa tentar. Ansiedade a flor da pele!
Como uma boa Au Pair, espero sem paciência o recebimento de minha host family, puxa vida, já fazem dois meses que enviei meu application e até agora nenhuma resposta, no lindo dia 12 de dezembro meu dossiê já estava em Boston, hoje esperando o Carnaval não tenho idéia de onde ficarei nessa minha nova vida, tenho medo de ter que adiar minha partida que está marcada para a terceira semana de março, se esse adiamento for feito meus planos de conclusão de curso na UFRN e meu tão sonhado mestrado em Psicologia também terão que ser adiados, e então serei uma Socióloga frustrada ! Mas não é só isso, não, imagina você com quase tudo pronto, as malas feitas para viajar e tendo que esperar, esperar, esperar...
